The Animated Patient’s Guide to Lung Cancer (YouandLungCancer.com) resource provides easy-to-understand and expert-approved animations, expert video explanations, patient story interviews and infographics to help patients discuss key issues with their health care provider and make important decisions related to management and treatment of lung cancer.

OUTLINE OF PROGRAM
The Educational content is divided into Four(4) patient learning modules:
- Understanding Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer
- Understanding Small Cell Lung Cancer
- Diagnosis of Lung Cancer
- Treatment and Management of Lung Cancer
Learning Objectives of this Educational Program:
- To enhance communications between lung cancer patients and their healthcare providers by increasing patient understanding of the complexities of the disease, the risks, staging, and clinical prognosis.
- To provide patients and healthcare providers with an understanding of disease management strategies and interventions, available therapeutic options, and associated clinical outcomes.
- To strengthen the patient-provider partnership by enhancing the decision-making process through an explanation of the risks and benefits and patient informed consent, to allow for collaborative decision making.
This Website is intended for patients, caregivers, and health care professionals within the United States.
