Melissa Buffalo, Chief Executive Officer of the American Indian Cancer Foundation, discusses the importance of American Indian representation and participation in lung cancer clinical trials. She discusses how lack of participation can be a factor that limits access to potentially beneficial treatments, but that it is also important for trust to be built with the community to encourage wanting to be part of a clinical trial.
