Dr. Lo describes how biomarker testing helps your healthcare team understand the unique characteristics of your lung cancer and allows them to identify the most effective treatment for you. He explains that this approach is called personalized medicine. Dr. Leventakos elaborates further that treatment for lung cancer is not "one size fits all", and that biomarker testing for NSCLC will help your healthcare team to personalize your treatment.
