Dr. Konstantinos Leventakos, a medical oncologist at the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center, discusses where you can access NGS and CGP testing for your lung cancer. He explains that many institutions implement a process called reflex genetic testing, which is typically done after lung cancer has been diagnosed. Your pathologist, oncologist, or the provider who initially diagnosed your lung cancer, can request a biomarker test through CGP on your behalf.
